Note: If you want to restore your old presets, remove the file assets-v55.sketchpreset in your library folder. You can access your library folder by launching Sketch and then going to Plugins > Reveal Plugins Folder, and then going one level up in the hierarchy

I got the GIF to import into my sketch file but now how do I export it and have it still run as an animation? All the options for exporting the artboards are just the usual JPG, PNG, SVG etc. Am I missing something? What good is it being able to add GIFs to the file if you can't export what you've created?

Same here. Freezes when moving objects, close to snap another object.Removed all plugins, reinstalled sketch, erased plist... and the freezes persist. The error was started this version (55.2).

  • Diya's canvas was grabbing mouse clicks away from Sketch's gradient tool making it impossible to use the gradient widget. Diya's attention seeking disorder has now been fixed

  • As a consequence of this, now the connector popup also goes away when you click on the canvas.

  • The timeline supports animations up to 10 seconds long. No one knew because the timeline header stopped counting at 2s. It now counts to 10s

  • You can now show/hide UI on all documents with one click. (Well, two clicks, because you have to activate the menu first)

  • While exporting prototypes, we make sure to remove the '.sketch' extension, so it no longer looks like you are exporting a .sketch document ... from Sketch ... through Diya

  • If you added a loading animation between two screens and the two screens had no differences, then Diya would assume there was nothing to do and just sit at the first screen. Diya has now been convinced to instantly move to the second screen instead.

  • Using 'shift+enter' in a text layer no longer confuses Diya. It used to be very confusing.

With the engine drawing 61.2 amps, and the propeller spinning at 889 RPM, there is considerably more prop wash and prop walk. You can see from this picture looking at the bow how the docklines are holding the boat steady as well as the difference in the amounts of prop wash on each side of the boat. The port side is very disturbed, while the starboard side is very calm. This illustrates why the boat will walk to starboard.

From the picture below, the model is a 2:3 scale (shown by the absolute 40.0mm dimension at the top, which is not snapped to any model points). When I use the dimension tool between the dark blue point and the cyan point, I get the correct dimension (61.2mm) only if I drag the dimension perpendicular to the length being dimensioned (shown in green). If I proceed to move the mouse such that the dimension snaps to be vertical or horizontal, the number remains 61.2mm rather than snapping to the orthogonal measurement.

OK. Now I understand what you are getting at. The 61.2 dimension is the diagonal distance and the Dimension tool will display that dimension no matter where you put the dimension arrow. I expect that should not be that way. @trent, thoughts? 2ff7e9595c
